Contributions for the next Newsletter should be sent in as soon as possible, but should arrive no later than the first post of the first weekday of the beginning of the month prior to publication, e.g. contributions for a May newsletter should arrive on, or before, the first weekday in April.
Wherever possible articles should be limited to about 300 words (330 maximum) because of demands on space. They should be, e-mailed to newsletter@swindonu3a.org.uk in rich text format (.rtf). To create a rich text format file, use Save As and choose Rich Text Format from the Save as type box. In Word 2007 you will need to choose Other Formats from the initial Save As window.

We are always delighted to receive contributions for the newsletter from anyone and in whatever form but please rember we work to a deadline. Items received after the deadline for the month will not be included and may not be applicable to the following month's newsletter. If you are sending copy by e-mail please send to newsletter@swindonu3a.org.uk . This is received by the newsletter team and hence will go direct to the editor of the month. Any other address including that of office@swindonu3a.org.uk and newsletter.chair@swindonu3a.org.uk means that the information will need to be forwarded which could miss the deadline. If you are sending paper copy to the office, which is quite acceptable, please do send it in with plenty of time. The copy needs to be picked up from the office and processed. If it is too close to the deadline it could be overlooked.
Thank you to everyone who has sent in articles and information. It is your newsletter and the items are very much appreciated.
